Yes. The Intercom search API lets Ana query conversations by content, tag, state, author, and many other criteria. Ana constructs targeted search queries to find relevant conversations and can then join them with warehouse data in the same analysis.

Does Ana read Intercom attributes?

Yes. Custom contact and company attributes are fully accessible through the API and the TextQL connector. Ana can filter, group, and join on any custom attribute, which is powerful when you use Intercom attributes to encode customer segments or feature flags.

How are Intercom credentials stored?

Access tokens and OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest in TextQL's credential vault and injected at request time by our egress proxy. Ana's Python sandbox never sees the raw token value, and refresh cycles happen outside the sandbox.

Can Ana send Intercom messages?

Yes with write scopes. By default the connector is read-only. Admins can grant write scopes to let Ana post notes, reply to conversations, or update contact attributes. Write operations are audit-logged separately from read calls.

Yes. The connector includes automatic backoff and retry logic for Intercom's rate limits. Ana paginates large result sets efficiently and caches references within a session to minimize API usage while keeping answers fresh.
