Claude Opus 5.5, Anthropic's newest Opus model, launched today and is now available in Ana.
The headline change is efficiency. Anthropic says Opus 5.5 performs at the level of Fable 5.1 on most tasks while costing 40% less to run than Opus 5. It also uses fewer tokens per task and generates output more than 30% faster.
For Ana, that changes which model makes sense for demanding, multi-step analysis. Opus 5.5 brings stronger reasoning and real-world knowledge work into the price range of an everyday model, with less time spent waiting through long investigations.
It is also more direct. Anthropic specifically tuned Opus 5.5 to put the important information first and follow writing instructions more closely, which should make the final answer easier to use without another editing pass.

Enabling Access
Opus 5.5 is available to all Ana users. To enable it for your organization, go to Settings > Models and toggle Enabled next to Claude Opus 5.5.
